I have only eaten here for lunch, so I can't speak to dinner options, but the lunch is amazing. Specifically, the lunch pasta specials (pasta, garlic knots, and soup or salad) are tasty and of great value. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend the lasagna. The star of the show, in opinion, are the garlic knots. I'm generally not a big garlic knot fan, but these are large, soft, and flavorful. Delicious! The service is also very good and the atmosphere is cozy. Overall, I highly recommend Bocca Bistro, especially for lunch.
We had a large family group tonight and the food was great. The portions are gigantic so be prepared for plenty of leftovers. Great service too.
GO HERE. Don’t even question it. Absolutely delicious Italian food- great quality and huge portions, even down to the salad that comes with your pasta. You WILL have enough for leftovers. Amazing value, friendly service. We’ve had lasagna, ziti, pizza, and all the salads. AND GARLIC KNOTS. Thank you Bocca :)
My husband and I had a late lunch at this superb restaurant last week. Carmello was our waiter and he took great care of us - helped us with our selections which were really delicious. My husband had spaghetti with meatballs and I had penne with alfredo sauce and shrimp - both outstanding. We had delicious salads and the cheese knots were superb. We had so much food we took half of it home and were in heaven eating it the next day. We are in the area on vacation but will, without question, squeeze in another visit before we leave.
We’re staying at a hotel nearby and looked at Google Maps for somewhere local for lunch. So glad we chose this place! Lunch special pizza by the slice was a NY style pizza. Great flavor with a crispy charred crust. Caesar salad was tasty. Service was awesome and everyone was very friendly. Parker was our server and was great.
Dined here this evening and smacked ourselves for passing it as often as we did! This little gem in Boone serves some of the best Italian food we’ve ever eaten. Our fabulous helpful attentive server Carmen said it just right…close your eyes throw a dart at the menu anything you get is a bullseye. Since it was our first time we decided to just start slow…mussels in a white wine garlic sauce. Abundant portion of the shellfish swimming in the most garlicky buttery broth and it was piping hot! We ordered a 18” pizza the Zorro..burnt ends brisket, bacon, mozzarella, red onion and a hot honey drizzle….had to convince my spouse he’d NOT died and gone to heaven and yes it is that magical. Though we shared an appetizer and pizza the entrees that were delivered to neighboring tables were huge in portion size and you could see the steam coming from each dish. Bocca has a wonderfully friendly and helpful wait staff and if our first taste of the dishes here are any indication and I’m positive they are we’ll be back. Oh just for an added bonus our dinner check was quite reasonable for what we got…bravo Bocca Bistro
Nice atmosphere and our waitress was phenomenal. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were strong and very decent amount. The meals have a great portion and everything is absolutely well worth the price. My family of 5 look forward to returning to this establishment
1st timer, went there for lunch. The lunch specials were priced right, the portions were generous and were really delicious (pizza, salad and calzone). Will definitely be back.
Had dinner here on Father's day for the first time. I called ahead to confirm closing and no reservation needed. We arrived around 6:40pm and seated promptly. Our server Brett was amazing!! He was funny, one could tell he enjoyed what he was doing. We ordered the Caprese Salad, tomato bisque, chorizo bean &vegetable soup, Veal Masala,(even though my order was messed up and I got chicken) veal parmesan on a hero, crispy wings and sausage and pepperoni pizza, mimosas, tiramisu, and cheese cake which flavor eluded me at the moment. The caprese salad was lovely, the food was phenomenal. It has been hard to pin down a decent place to eat, and this exceeded expectations. No flair, no fuss. Just great food, great atmosphere and great service. The portions were huge. Will definitely be back, fingers crossed for consistency. We were not disappointed.
Had a wonderful lunch at Bocca Bistro today! I ordered the soup and Stromboli, and both were absolutely delicious. The soup was warm, hearty, and full of flavor — perfect for a cool Boone day. The Stromboli had a crispy golden crust with savory fillings, and the marinara sauce paired perfectly with it. The portions were generous, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience very enjoyable. A great place for lunch with family or friends. Definitely worth visiting again!
